    Minivan Breaks Into The 11's

    It was a good day at the track


    Here's my very first 11 second pass

    No bottle required



    I'm car number 4011 below

    These were my first two passes.....no nitrous

    I guess the springs and valve grind helped,

    What was the car on the right, a Rabbit?

    Yes......it was a turbocharged 16 valve engine in an earlier Rabbit

    Looking at that smoke, did you finally do it in?

    It's running fine

    I'm going to do a leakdown on it and see if I smoked something

    I was getting some blow by coming out of the valve cover that looked like it may have been getting on the exhaust manifold.........I'll know soon

    Congratulations sir!

    How big of a pill did it take for the 5 mph gain? Did you have to put in the 75 jet?

    Now just imagine if you had something other than stock stuff in there... sheesh. You'd be as fast as those darned 16V setups!

    That was a 37 nitrous jet which is refered to by NOS as a 50 shot

    I was impressed for that small amount of spray

    After I saw the smoke I decided not to chance putting in the 42 jet

    I wanted to bring it home running
