Which parking brake cable?
I'm putting '89 Daytona Shelby (big) rear brakes on my Shelby Z, and I'm gonna replace the two rear parking brake cables while I'm at it. I already have the front brakes swapped, btw.
Rockauto.com says Raybestos BC93943 are the ones I need. Can anyone verify?
Does anyone have a NAPA/AutoZone/Advance part number for the cables? I was hoping to do the swap this weekend, so if I could pick up the cables locally that'd be great.
Oh, and what's the difference between the '89 and '90 parking brakes? They look the same to me, yet they show two different part no's?
Thanks!

Re: Which parking brake cable?
Not sure on the part numbers, but 90 had the E-brake lever on the floor in the center of the car instead of under the dash like the 89, so I would be suprised to see different parking brake cables used.

Re: Which parking brake cable?
But the cables are made up for 4 different pieces,though.. Front, middle and the two rears. I could see the front cable change, but the other ones?

Re: Which parking brake cable?
Could be that they are pretty much the same but in 1990 cars got a rear axle change with a slightly longer rear swingarm than the 89's so that could be part of it as well.
