Ok i got gave a Fuel pump for a 1988 Lebaron turbi new never used. And i was woundering would it work on my 1985 Turbo because my pump just went out. I mean i just got the pump not the whole hanger or what i should be asking is well the 88 fit in the 84 hanger.
From what I remember they should be the same, been a while since I've been inside any 85 vintage fuel tanks on anything other than an Omni.

It will work but you have to kinda jury rig it. The pump holder is shorter than the 88 pump so the retainer that holds the pump in the holder is too short. Other than that, it will fit. I used some larger zip ties to hold the pump in place or just get a newer pump hanger assembly.

Thank u guys so much. I was lucky a customer had a new pump not even out the box. now all i have to do is hit the bone yard for a fuel rail
