Divorce forces sale. Car is completely rust free and located in Northwestern Kansas. Has ALL Shelby items intact. Also has clear title. Sometime in the car's past there was a re-paint in original colors, which was (and still is) of pretty decent quality, but they removed all of the external CSX decals except the trunk medallion. There is one VERY minor ding in the top of the driver's front fender, but it is not at all serious. Otherwise, there is no body damage, past or present. The original engine runs well, and is quite sound, with 135PSI compression, dead even across the board. 60PSI oil pressure at cold idle and 40PSI oil pressure at warm idle. There are a few mechanical items on this car that need attention. One, the motor mounts are all getting a bit weak, thus transmitting some vibration to the chassis. The rad fan does not work, but I have traced it to the fenderwell mounted relay, I just haven't had a chance to replace it. The fan motor itself works fine. The Garrett turbo on the car is getting bad, as it bypasses oil out the exhaust side. Aside from that, and some normal maintenance items, you could have yourself a damn fine Shelby for a pretty cheap price. The original A520 5 speed shifts as it should with no grinding. On the interior, the seats have some fine longitudinal tears in them, but are by NO means a mess. The carpet would be absolutely fine with a cleaning, and the headliner and door panels are fine as well. The dash is uncracked and rear parcel tray is intact as well. Car also comes with original Centurion II rims, with brand-firing new performance radials on them. I guarantee they have under 200 miles. Basically, the old girl runs, and drives, and does so fairly well, but with the leaky turbo and bad mounts, I would much rather see someone trailer it than try to drive it. I sincerely hate to part with this car (you have no idea how much) but some things are just more important. Asking price is $750.00 OBO. Now folks, I'll work with you on the price if your serious, but please no low-ballers, as I know the Shelby items alone could damn near fetch my asking price. I need this car gone. All seriously interested parties phone 1-785-443-0918 (ask for Marc), as I don't get online very often. A myriad of pictures will be forthcoming soon as possible.
