So true, so far only the cars that were at the Ontario Pick-a-Part seem to have had the proper paperwork submitted. But, it's better than a sharp stick in the eye, and you'd get some kind of payback from them if you did buy a car that turns out to be a salvage, etc. Just for grins you should send me the VIN for the Family Truckster you recently acquired!

Thanks for the report on my car. For some reason it was sent to my span folder, but got it anyways. It's awfully nice what you're doing.

No Problem! It's my small way of giving back to the community that has helped me out not only by directly helping with questions, but also with the open access to alot of good info.

    BTW, your order's up!

If you only knew....I have known Mike since I think 1986? He may try to act like a CA boy, but went to high school in Indiana, so that's what's wrong with him.

    Re: CAFAX Reports

It looks like what I thought originally by a registration find in the back seat is true, that I'm the third owner of my car. It doesn't show the second owner being Steve, but it sat in his driveway for about a year or so without the title being switched to his name. Thanks again!

Damn it Brad, you're going to ruin my carefully crafted Azzhole persona!

Sorry I missed your call the other day, that car might just be worth getting for the drivetrain (as a spare). Seems there are a few potential pitfalls in my pending purchase, hope it doesn't need a head! ($$) LMK what you can get it for and if you don't mind keeping it for awhile, if all are in agreement, I'll send you some $$ for it.

    Re: CAFAX Reports

Just wanted to use that smilie! I've still got a lot of time left on my account, and no as many people requested as I thought might, so if you were thinking about it, don't, just send the request.

If I can manage to get the VIN# off the car I'm looking at, I'll send it your way if you don't mind so I can get the history on it.
