I know with O2 sensors the actual Mopar unit is considered to be far superior to the parts store ones, but what is everyone's experience with knock sensors?
Im having lots of issues with my GLHT detecting knock, and Im beginning to wonder if its the knock sensor itself. Last night at the track Ive done about everything I can do to prevent it, 113 octane VP, timing set to stock, shrouded plugs, rich mix, etc. and still get terrible knock retard after I bang 2nd gear. Im wondering if the parts store knock sensor has taken a poop and is now over active/over sensitive for some reason.
any thoughts?
