WTB 8 Valve head(s) Cheap!

I'm looking for some fodder for my porting efforts, so I don't really want to pay much for something that might be (or is that likely?) turned into scrap, but I would like to be able to run what I create/destroy so they can't be complete trash. They probably should be swirl heads since I'll be messing with the chambers too, TBI heads should be ok.

So, if you have some old head you'd like to turn into a little bit of cash, LMK.

I have a couple swirl heads that are burned between 2 cylinders from a catastrophic HG failure and could be welded and fixed or cut .060 - .100 ... I was planing to use them as band saw study tools.... lmk if you you're interested.

I have a 89 782 Swirl that came off of my car and was replaced by a Menegon head. It has no issues at all, just the usual small crack between a couple of the valves. It ran great as it was.

Thanks for the tip Butch, finally found the pictures of the chamber (I think). I guess it's just the angle the picture was taken from, but the 1st pict doesn't look that shrouded, but the 2nd really looks like it would be, had it not been modified. Are these both swirl heads?

Yea all the pics are swirl which is why I got them in my favorites as my head is a swirl. I did masive shrouding on mine but not as much as crazymadbastard did on his.

Just a reminder to not toss out that old head, I'd still like to get a few to go "under the knife" so LMK if you can use a little extra cash (and I do mean little! )
