    Re: vavle guides

You need new guides. if you tap it back into place, it will just fall down again. if it falls further, it may cause severe damage.

New guides come with clips to keep them from dropping.

    Re: valve guides

    No.

They press out the old ones, press in the new ones and then ream the guides for proper fit. Now, you need a valve job done as the guide to seat concentricity is probably not perfect now.

If you are broke and also need is yesterday... i guess you cound press the guide back up in position and then carefully machine a grove for a snap ring to keep if from falling. But you may be asking for a problem as you never know what's next if the press is not so good.

If you need to warm the head to push it back up it's probably okay with a clip on it. If it rattles up and down when you shake the head, you definitely need a new one. Somewhere in between is hard to call.

yea I am kind of broke, I just cant bring myself to spend much more money on a car I've never even driven.

what I was thinking of doing was pressing the 2 that fell down back up and welding a bump near the base so it cant fall back down.

I just don't know how ill push the guide back up they're very tight.
