    vacuum block...

ok... i know this is probably a newbie question and i wasnt sure where else to post this, but i dont want to mess anything up. i have an 86 shelby charger, with an 87 T1 with a log intake. i want to put a vacuum block from FWD performance in it, but is that possible? there are solenoids that the vacuum lines connect to... should i just replace the lines and not get the block. how could i connect it with the vacuum block? im just wondering, i dont want to spend any money that i dont have to.

    Re: vacuum block...

Depends on what you have in mind.

I just converted a 86 Omni to T2 status. I removed all the vacuum lines and harness from the right fender, moved the CAT sensor on the intake where the large nipple was, mounted the vacuum block where the cat sensor used to be, then redid the vacuum lines. I kept the purge and vacuum cannister operations for emission reasons and if you do, make sure to use the one way check valves so boost doesn't blow things up.
