    Right on Jeremy!

Here is an excerpt from a 2005 post from "turbort" on TD:

You can use either 5060660 (6/66") or 5060672 (6/67.2"). I used Gates part # K060660 when I ditched the a/c on an old R/T of mine many moons ago (has long since been junked) and it worked out great. If you go to Autozone and they insist you give them a specific application, tell 'em it's for a 1988 Pontiac Fiero 2.5L with AC. This should yield the 5060660 belt.

As far as I remember, removing the a/c on the R/T is pretty straightforward and you don't need to cap anything on the car. Just make sure to seal up the a/c lines when you remove them so they don't get corroded from being open to the elements. Those lines are specific to the T3, have been NS1 for a really long time, and could fetch some serious coinage if they're in good condition!

From what I remember, the trickiest part (not real difficult at all though) was getting the belt on and routed correctly. Here is a diagram that should help you in case the sticker under your hood is missing or illegible.

It's interesting to note that while the diagram shows the belt routing without A/C, no Turbo 3 was ever produced without it, hence no Chrysler part # for a non-a/c belt!

And if you've got a real funky mix of pulley sizes (non TIII alt and ps pump or something) and/or custom mount brackets for same, just figure out what length belt you need (string!) and type (V ribbed etc) and I might be able to match a part number and application out of an old belt and hose catalogue I've got.

Well, its just temporary, I want to get it running then get the a/c done. I figure I;ll have a tad more room to mess around. I have all winter to get my a/c done,

I have run all three of the belts listed on my own Spirit R/T. Currently it has the 66" belt (non A/C and UDP). Anyways, glad to share the #s.

Re: A/C bypass belt number please!

For what ever reason the 66" belt was too short on my car. The 67" belt had the tensioner maxxed out so I went to the next size bigger. I forget it off-hand but 68.5 is coming to mind.
