If it's anything like the Daytonas (and I'm pretty sure it is) that trim in the first pic is held in by some small nuts inside the roof. Or that's what I was told anyway; I haven't done it myself. As for the windshield trim, get yourself a plastic trim tool (like the $3 pack at Harbor Freight) and gently just push it off the edges of the glass. That's the easy part. Putting them back on is a bit trickier, because technically they're supposed to be clipped on the glass before the windshield is installed. It can be done though. It just takes a little patience and a little 3M Weatherstrip adhesive to make sure it stays put.
if you are talking about the metal black trim around the side glass the clips are designed to slide sideways and pop out, you probably will break every single one of them in the process. The quarter glass has 3 tabs that snap into the metal below the glass but i can't remember what else. you need to unbolt the rear of the 1/4 glass to get that one out.

I'm currently collecting parts to restore my CSX and was wondering what you guys are doing to refurbish your horn button and trunk medalions? Mine have some oxidation on the gold colored parts where it's turning a bluish color. Any suggestions?
I have a few questions for those of you who are more seasoned 89 csx owners than me.
First is would you agree with my assumption that the gray fabric on the Recaros is the same as the rear seats?
-also that the "Shelby" fabric is the same gray fabric with the lettering added in.
I am sending in a seat cover to hve them custom weave some replacement fabric if possible and I want to get it right.
Second, How "Brittle" are Fiberides? obviously they are still used by some for near DD use, but I have hard that it is not reccommended. How many people have actually had Fiberides crack?

Shelby Fabric
Holy cow! Okay I bought one yard. Since the outside of the car is getting fixed up now, I'm gonna need it for the front seats one of these days.
It says one yard will do two seats. I'm no upholsterer, but that seems a bit off to me.
I ran across this today:

Meh, I solid model all day long, just not in solid works. Nice attempt, but his proportions are off and his rim section is not even close. It would be better to get one, and white light scan it and model over the scan to capture the surface.
