I believe it is an aftermarket piece from Erebuni. That is probably also the source of the rear covers with an exhaust cutout. See http://www.erebunicorp.com/ge/doshadow.htm.
David is correct, that is an Ebruni front air dam. Evan Fino had one on his old CSX before it was wrecked. http://www.shelbydodge.8m.com/custom.html

Too bad they don't make them anymore
I'll have to keep an eye out for one, as well as the rear air dam with the cutout... When did this company halt the production of these pieces, any ideas?
It looks ok on that car, but not great. The original style looks much more aggressive I think. I wouldn't work to hard to recreate this one.
Yeah, I agree simply because the body line above the foglights wraps in too close to the car I feel. Regardless, I wrote them anyways to see what the deal is (if they woudl still do orders or reproduce them in the future). Why not investigate, right?
If they have the molds, it would be pretty easy I am sure. Judging by the final price of them on the website link posted above, I don't think there was much demand for them.
If someone is laying some glass, copying the yellow bird ground fx would get some demand I bet.
It sure would!
Haven't seen that shot of the car before. Now that is a good looking Shadow!
Erebuni replied that they still have one set of the sideskirts left if anyone wants them. That is the last of anything they have for the Shadow, even molds - they were destroyed after production ran out.
Updated the MEDIA section of www.1989csx.homestead.com if you want to check it out!
Me, either. Can I put that on www.shelbycsx.com and credit you, Billy?
Sure! I don't remember where I got it from exactly but post it on there for all to see!
