Anyone else get their 89 out to a show yet? I've had mine at three, and the most recent one had a lot of people discussing Shelby's involvement with Dodge. A gentleman came to me saying he has dealt with nothing but Mopars for 36 years and had never seen or heard of the 89 CSX. It was cool to see the reaction of a person so knowledgeable checking one out for the first time! The old school guys also had a lot of props for my rear louvers. I stared at them for like four years just sitting here awaiting a car to go on, so I'm glad they get some deserved attention lol... I hope to really get rolling on #414 here soon so I can have twins sitting at a show someday since I have a set of louvers set aside for it too.

Looking at the picture at full resolution, it appears to have a Vermont license plate that reads "UD LOOZ". I'm not certain, but that's what it looks like to me. Anyone recognize who's CSX it is, based on the plate? Extra points if you know the CSX #

cant tell you the car # but i can tell you the vin based on the plate, if you have the csx vin list that would get you the number

That looks really nice and clean. I cleaned mine up but have added some upgrades, so the stock look isn't there anymore. I also need to wheel out the relays as they look aweful.

You silly people. That is my 89 csx AND rampage. 89 CSX #269. The udlooz plate originally was on my black 90 VNT comp car.

thanks it does, can you send me the measurements? total length, total height, width of the letters and width of the outline. i am going to my decal shop to see if they can reproduce them. they did my shelby lancer one which came out really nice. if they can, i will have them do a run of them.

All the letters sort of vary in width. I could probably mail you a trace of them if you wanted. It would probably be easiest to get the right measurements. I'd do all 4, the windshield, the 2 CSX on the sides and the Shelby and CSX on the trunk.

But it may be easier to just contact Dave at Positive Impressions. I think he is still making them upon request. . . I plan to order from him when I get to that point.
