    1985 Turbo Lebaron transmission help!

    I was woundering can a trans off an 85 N/A be used on a turbo. 2.2 turbo 1 lebaron. What happens is when th car heats up the trans start to slip and the backup gear is like realy bad gotta put my foot into it almost to get it to go

    I replied over on TD. I'm guessing you have an auto from the slipping description. In short, no. You don't really want to use a carb/tbi auto behind a turbo motor.
