    reducing clutch pedal travel?

how can i reduce the clutch pedal travel on my 89 daytona shelby with an a520? i was thinking of attaching the cable about an inch or so inward on the clutch lever outside the housing. i know its gonna increase effort, but now worried about it. lemme know what yall think please. thanks

Well if your clutch doesn't engage right off the floor you can make a small spacer and put it under the stop on the bracket under the top of the pedal. Look under the dash or take your pedal out and you'll see. But you have to make the stop just thick enough so the clutch engages right off the floor. This will keep the leverage the same but reduce the travel.
