    Are these slicks pushing it???

M and H 235/15/8.5... Would these fit on a snowflake and on a Spirit R/T???

8.5" seems a little wide to me so I thought I would ask.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

They will fit but the contact patch won't be optimal and you might need to space the wheel out so the tire doesn't hit the strut. Gasketmaster ran those or larger and had no problems, lol!

Re: Are these slicks pushing it???

    Snowflakes are 6" rims correct?

According the the specs, the 23x8.5x15 have a section width of 9.4". Doing the math, that equates to about a 240-40-15 tire (if they even made such a size). Considering that even a 225/50 is pushing it on a 6" rim, what Simon says (he he he) is right, the contact patch will be funky to say the least, and you'll be REALLY close to rubbing the strut, if not right on it.

For running with OEM 6" wheels, the 23x7.5x15 are the best fitting M&Hs.

    Hope this helps,

I talked to John @ M&H, about this specific tire size. 7" wheel will be optimal. If you are forced to use the Snowflake wheel, you might want to consider 7.5" slick.
