    going hybrid?

    what would one need to do to put a 2.0 neon head on my 2.5 ....and what motor would be best to look for in the jy.....the dohc or sohc?

    get a DOHC head off a neon or a 2.4 stratus, the headbolts line up. You have to block off the oil drain backs and run external drainbacks and feed, some other stuff you have to do also... Personally I think your better off getting a 2.4 out of a stratus and putting SRT-4 internals in it, it bolts up to our trans except 1 bolt and you only have to make 1 or 2 mounts but its more cost effective and its a stronger platform to build on

    Dohc is better. The 2.4 is a good option if you want to keep a/c but engines are expensive compared to bolting on a head onto your existing block. Heck, one guy did it on the street in his Minivan.
