    Re: air to water intercooler?

short quetion so I gave a short answer
If you click on my homepage you'll see tons
It was for a strictly drag race application
large I/C with, lots of ice water with a circulation pump
Very effiecent at cooling the intake temps (so much the pipe to the throttle body would sweat cold water !!)
my setup was not good for street driven vehicles
I had problems with what I believe was leaking in the I/C at the factory epoxied joints
I would/am considering doing to again
The car would run very consistantly even in high heat

LMk what your doing an if you have any questions

do you have any pics of your heat exchangers? I bought one a while back for a car I was building (never finished) and could never decide on a heat exchanger.

That is a nice kit. Makes me wish I had gotten one of those instead of using an air-to-air intercooler.

I really like that water/air kit on that website, but did you also see this air-to-air intercooler? http://www.frozenboost.com/product_i...b45b6ee0a3f9c6

Bar and Plate design, 23x20x3.5" with 2.5" in/out same side with a Pressure drop of 1psi. Up to 800 cfm for only $149.99...!!! What a smoking price!

That is a good price. siliconeintakes.com (stamped on the image) is a great place for cheap silicone parts and other plumbing doodads.

Those do look like a decent kit for the money. This might work out well on my van where I'm looking to intercool it and keep the A/C up front.
