$500 a hood? Is that Carbon Fiber? What would it take to Rent the scoop from you so I can have a local guy make a mold? ~~Heath

How do these attach? I've never seen one up close. Do they rivet/bolt around the outside edge, or do they have the little inserts on the inside with studs/threads to bolt through from the bottom? I might possibly be interested in one in the near future.

the scoops are 150.00 they were more then that from mopar new. And if you read it it say's the more made the cheaper they are sorry i don't think 375.00 for a bolt on hood is bad. a good hood for a mustang is almost 500.00 as far as the hood i got it from billy this summer i guess you did't know he had it

Actually I know he had the hood, I passed on it because of the cracks. And yes, the price of $375 for the bolt on hood is a good deal, I thought you were asking $375 for a hood scoop.

For $150 that's an awesome deal. No chance your guy could make them enclosed all the way around like the yellowbird scoop?

When do you plan production? ~~Heath

I have the DC intercooler kit (not yet installed) but I was wondering if these scoops really help the intercooler. I know a ram air scoop would work but I'm not sure if "cowl" style is just as good.

So what kind of commitment are we talking about? I want one to help clear everything for my 2.4 conversion.

Just a scoop. I have a friend that can make me the hood in CF once I have the scoop molded in.

A cowl setup will pull in as much as a front facing one (due to the high air pressure at the cowl), but you get less debris, and compared to a flat-to-the-hood front-facing one, the air will be cooler too.

Heath. If you decide to make a 2 door L body one, with this scoop molded ont a stock hood, and done in clearcoated raw carbon fibre, LMK. My TC3 convertible just may have to get one too.
