'89 T-1 to '84 T-1 swap.....

My '84 2.2L T-1 Lebaron ragtop has the usual Garrett T-1 on it. I have an '89 Mitsu "Factory Rebuilt" unit in my parts archives with NO play. If the day should come that the Garrett kacks out on me how much trouble would it be using the Mitsu T-1 on the old '84 2.2L's G-head? I've got everything concerning the Mitsu T-1 off a donor '89 2.5L T-1 Lebaron. Even the harness/ECM/WG/intake/exhaust manifolds. Even a 62K mile 782 head off a '89 TBI 2.5L Spirit I have swapped the '89 T-1 valves/springs into! Just needs one of the small freeze plugs on the end of the head replaced. With the UNIQUENESS of the '84 ( ) in some mechanical aspects I'm just looking down the pike as far as parts-on-hand repairs. Thanks.

are you talking about swaping turbo's out? if so that will not work, but if your up to converting to new electronics then yea it will work if you swap the wirring out for the harness out the labaron
