    Raising rack Q:

Dropping the car 1" via eibachs. So, to do it correctly, I must raise my rack 1" to keep my tie rods at the proper angle to help reduce bump steer.

I got to thinking and want to know if anyone else has done this before and have you run into a problem with the coupler bottoming out since the rack is 1" higher or close to it (and the angle is moved a tad)

Ha, just answered you in the OTHER thread. Honestly Steve, its not needed. I have driven many a lowered TM and my van is lowered 3 inch's with no hint of bump steer. I do believe you will bottom out the flex coupler if you raise the rack 1 inch. IN stock form, the coupler sits in the middle of its travel IIRC.

    Re: Raising rack Q:

put the eibach's on and measure the drop. Don't just assume it'll be 1" from the advertised amount.

    What's the flex coupler?

The joint that joins the rack to the steering column, the 2 pieces fit together and can slide up and down aprox 2 inches. If you ever remove the K-member and let the rack hang, this can pull them apart which is a #$%!#$%^!#%!#$ pita to put them back together. It allows the K-member etc to flex and in a crash, the steering column can be pushed down out of the way for impact control.
