    2.4L / 2.0L spark plugs?

What part number NGK (or other) spark plugs are you running in your 2.4L or 2.0L DOHC turbo application?

Also, please note which of the follwing it is:

    -SRT-4 / PT cruiser motor

-2.0L or 2.4L that started as a N/A DOHC motor

    -2.2L or 2.5L DOHC 16v hybrid.

And while we are at it, what gap you run too!

    Thanks!

It depends on what year head, I'll look them up later for stock applications but the SRT 4 head uses a different type-I don't mean heat range, than the earlier models.

nice, the reg V power only goes to 7, one range colder than stock neon of 6, I believe these are found in the writeup I did in the knowledge center.

The SRT4 plugs are diff physically.

But afaik you have an older 2.4 so ngk v power 7 for low boost, then look to the plug Rob posted or the iridium 9 plug $$$, I have some advance auto can order them as well as others

Got a link to your KC article? Does it list the different 'stock' plugs?

Those numbers are a tad different than the one Rob listed. I found the NGK part number decoder...

The plug Rob uses is a "race" plug, not the reg V power. The reg V power only goes to 7 heat range, the 9 heat range for NGK is what you want for high boost, so this means either the "race" plug Rob listed or the $9 Iridium BKR9EIX.

I've got the NGK Iridium IX plugs in both my '02 Ram 1500 (360), and my '04 Sebring Sedan (2.4L). In fact I think the same part number is used on both engines, just can't remember what the part number is right now, lol. I love them!

Only bother with the Irridiums if you want your plugs to last longer. They offer no real performance gain.

Good info, thanks... I'll probably go with the race copper v-power for now, I like changing plugs frequently
