My guess it was probably 1991 when they brought out the stripped down "America" versions.
yea, i'm looking for the ones that are thicker.

I could use a set for a 90 VNT. (wide) Let me know what you have...

There was a thread a ear ago about how someone found them at JC Whitney. Now, not sure if they were Dodge specific, or somthing universal or not... but I'd take a look there.
Bill, Sweetland told me the right (or was it left?) sides were still available when he had his '89 Shadow painted. May be all gone now...

They are all gone from Mopar inventory and a dealer search comes up empty. This is for both the black & chrome wide scrappers.
I recall that JCwhitney thread but I want to say that it didn't pan out. I think someone got too excited and posted before they received the scrappers they ordered and when they did get them they were of no use.
Kind of like those weatherstripping threads that pop up every now and then. Someone posts that they found a company to reproduce weatherstripping without asking all the right questions upfront so a week or so later they come back saying it wont happen because the company will have to make a mold which requires a prepaid order of something like 10,000 weatherstripping sets to even consider the job.
I need some for me ES, that makes like 5 people LOL.
I need a set for my 88. so 6? plus 3 for spares
who made them for Chrysler? maybe we can get them to remake them or share the designs.

I'd be down with that JT! But who would be willing to reproduce them and at what cost...
I need 2 pairs now.
I'm definitely in for a group buy if one happens, but who knows where to start and look for some?
**E-mail from Year One this past Nov...
After reading the e-mail I just received from Year One in regards to belt mouldings, etc., I don't see this as a possibility. That is unless it's another 10-15 years down the line and these cars are worth something, or someone has a buttload of avail cash....

Mike,
I don't normally respond to the questions outside of my product line,
however I use to own a GLHS and still hold an interest in these cars.
For me to consider making any one of these parts the commitment would be
considerable. For example, the door belt molding. That would require a
fifteen to twenty thousand dollar investment in tooling, and a product
run of one thousand units. Each with a cost of approximately twenty
dollars. This represents a total expenditure of thirty five to forty
thousand dollars. This is possible for a part that is within my catalog
line, but for something that I have no way to market all the units would
have to be presold at a thirty percent margin. I would suggest getting a
club or forum together and pooling your money to make what you need. At
this time I would not be interested. Good luck.
