50 trim compressor, 'E' housing, .63 A/R Stage 3 wheel is what I have in my R/T
20 psi by 3200 rpm. Pulls cleanly to 7k rpm.
I have a ported intake, head, exhaust manifold and 3" exhuast to help with airflow.

GT3071R just waiting in box
3 bar FWDP stage 2 calibration. At 24 psi it made 320 whp, shortblock is/was very worn with marginal compression.

The turbo guru in our area recommended it to me. He said the 3071R is perfect for what I am looking for, but if I wanted a little more top end that the 3076R would be nice. You would spool it up quicker than I would that is why the 71 is a little better for my ported 8V set-up. There is a guy around my city running it and he loves it!
So my 90k miles engine that's well-cared for and 140psi across the board would do well I'd say.

I measured 100-105 psi across the board with 2 different gauges. I expect the fresh shortblock to do much better this spring.

It depends on what you want out of the car really. What's your ultimate goal for the car? I think a 3076 should be used at a minimum. I would immediately step up to a 35R without a doubt. I don't see what the hold up to 600+ and more whp setups on TIII cars. They have everythign available it seems to me. But yeah, a 35R would be pretty optimal in my "more power is better" mentality.
I run the 3076R on my 8V car and it doesn't have a problem... that should give you a little prompt.

Every car I see using a BB setup is making crazy power.
The type of center cartridge used bearing wise will have little to no effect on overall power output. It's just that the people willing to put a lot of money into a turbo more than likely have a lot of money into everythign else to make the power.

The T-III cars or the hybrids too have a lot more potential. I had to put a LOT of money in my 8-valve car to make it run like it did...the TIII requires MUCH less effort.

Not actually ANTI. I was told a LONG time ago (when the 2.5 craze hit) that an 8-valve 2.2 couldn't make the numbers.This coming from the guy that used to be anti-16V cars!
