    Manual Rack Differences L-Body??

Anyone know the differences between the 84-87 L-Body manual rack and a pre 84 L-Body manual rack?

I need to change mine and am not sure which to get.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Alex.

Can you remove the coupler? I swapped out the connectors on a rack from a shadow with cast arms with the origional coupler that was on my 86' 600.

The splines are different on the rack, hence the different couplers. I have no idea why they did it.

the 2 couplers have different teeth. I will actually try and swap the shaft from my rack to the new one. My coupler is made for more teeth then the rack I bought. Otherwise they look the same.

Well that didn't work so I had to make the coupler fit (Hammer). O well it'll work but if I ever need another rack I'm going for a power rack.
