    3 wire to 1 wire o2

    I need to run a 1 wire O2 sensor on my 87 3 wire wagon for a while...

    So I guess I would wire to the black wire in the harness - should be the signal, right???

    if I remember there are 2 white and 1 black.....

    Yes, the black wire on the 3-pin is the signal.

    My Sundance is running a 1 wire right now. I used a universal sensor and spliced on the plug from an old Mopar sensor so I wouldn't have to cut on the harness any.

    Another little trick you can do is to hoseclamp a wire to the body of the 1 wire sensor and connect the other end to where you have your a/f gauge grounded. This helps recover a little bit of the voltage that would otherwise be lost to resistance in the ground path and will usually get you the full range on a narrowband a/f gauge once the sensor is warm.
