18 Splines
This should fit in my 89 shadow with a 555 transmission in it right?
Just want to make sure before i rip my 555 out and it doesnt fit on my clutch or something.
Did any of the 555's come with a large spline?
All 555s were small spline. 1990 568s (VNTs/Turbo Vans) are small spline as well.
so what is on my tag means it will fit then? I just want to make sure. Scared i will take the 555 out and the 568 wont fit or something. I will throw it in tommorow then.
Well what is your 568 from? Anything 91 or later is large spline and will not fit. It must be from a 1990.
it is from a 1990 and i counted the splines and it has 18 splines which means it is a small spline. Thanx whorse. Hows life treating yah?
Not that great. I got randomly yelled at by some idiot at work for no reason and everything's a mess at work, and my shop just got broken into and I had about 2 grand worth of stuff stolen, including all the speakers you sold me.

Transmission is a small spline 1990 568.
Yes, it will bolt into your shadow but you will need a different shifter and cable setup from a '90 and later car as the 555 shifter setup won't fit.
Axles work, starter and acc. work, clutch setup you have now works, clutch cable setup works. All good but the shifter and cables.
