    rods and pistons which way

    juat want to make sure that the rods go into the block with the tangs facing the back of the block and the pistons have the valve reliefs towards the front of the block correct??

    If your looking at the block in the car, IE timing belt at right side then valve reliefs go to the back-intake/exhaust side and the oil squirters on the rods face the timing belt/front.

    so yup then im ok with the rods and was wrong with the pistons wanted to make sure before i put them together. really hate taking the clips out lol

    they recommend only using those once - if you have to take 'em out - u should get new ones

    Always used used ones, as long as there tight and kinda snap when they go in, they'll be fine.
