87 GLHS for sale (project)

I have 87 GLHS #892. I am thinking of selling it. This car is a project. The car has a solid body. The only rust is from the sunroof leaking on driver's side floor board. The rear quarters are rust free. I have taken the interior apart. The seats, carpet, And lower dash console are out. The front seats are not that good, But I do have a good back seat to go with it. I have started to take the engine apart. Also the hood and the front bumper cover have been removed. I have all the shelby parts to go with the car. The koni's still feel pretty firm. The car is complete minus the carpet. The wheels were missing from the car. I did find a set and started stripping and polishing them. Two and half of them are done. I will sell just the car minus the wheels for $900 or with the wheels for $1200. I will also sell to the buyer a rebuild engine. That I bought from e-bay. The person I bought the engine from said it is a 87 turbo engine rebuilt from Napa never used. I will ask 600.00 for it. I have many extra parts to go with it. Like a good sunroof with the seal still on it, good window scrapers, and some other stuff.

I also live in St. Peters Mo 63376 about 30 miles west of St.louis. The only trade I would make is for a 87 CSX that is in good running shape. With some money added on my part.

Sorry I have not listed any pictures yet, But been busy. Hopefully I will get some this weekend. The reason I am selling it. Is I don't have the time to finsh. This is a solid car. But the sunroof leaked. There is no rust any where else. This car was first sold in CA and then was in southern IL.

I rolled the car out today to take some more pictures.








That is a picture of a dent on the quarter panel. The reason I am selling is that I do not have the time to work on this car like I wanted too. I do have the nose piece, hood and 95% of the other parts. I want to take a picture of all that stuff too. I need to go through it in my attic.

With out the wheels. I like this web site so if the buyer saw this on this website and is a member. Then I will throw in a 89 555 tranmission with the shift cables from a Daytona. I do not know anything about the transmission. I bought it from a junkyard. But it is yours if you win the action. GOOD lUCK. I did not offer this on the other web site.
