Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
Meaning drill a hole and thread it in? But don't I need to know what size npt tap and drill bit to use?

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
Yes, you do need to know, and I don't have that information.

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
well what i did was just pushedf the pin through, then ran the one wire to the sensor, and the other to a ground. its pin 21 right?

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
Thats good info on the pin but still could use the drill bit size and NPT tap size for that sensor.

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
Anyone have any suggestions on an EGT gauge? I'm hoping with the walbro and alky that this new build will work out okay so I'm still going with the narrow band a/f since I'm broke but I am gettin an EGT. Which one is a good one and where should the probe be mounted? I have a ported stock manifold year 89.

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
Just to throw in a little help they also are on the log intakes as well. So if you are having problems finding a t2 car with one the log intakes ones work well. That is the charge temp sensor.

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
the plug they use is diffrent than the 89 one, so you may have to get that too, but it would read a diffrent resistance if you have a newer computer

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
Well I got mine out of a neon, not sure what year. It was on a plastic intake.

Re: Need to add Charge Temp Sensor
Well got it installed in the intake now and im going to hook the blue striped wire to pin 21 and the red striped one to the tb as ground.
Since I couldn't find the info earlier the charge temp sensor out of the Neon was an 18NPT tap and needed a 7/16 hole
