Woo Hoo! Back in the T2 game!

Traded my 97 neon yesterday for this 89 shelby t2 tona. The neon was worth more but neons are dime a dozen in eastern WA and t2 cars dont exist. I acutally did a bunch of work on this car a year or so ago for a friend of mine, it has a new HG motor mounts, timing belt... all the little stuff that goes wrong. The body is kinda rough, and so is the paint but it runs strong and thats all I was concerned with. Soon to be packing a walbro and 18psi .

    Just wanted to brag!

Yea it is. He sold it to moparfreak and I traded him my neon for it. I put alot of time in this car when he had it and Im really glad to own it. When I first started looking for a TD (2003) this is the car I wanted and couldnt find one.

Its currently running +20's at 55psi, 15psi soon to be 18, and 3 inch exhaust. I am going to install the air shocks off my shadow tomaro and hope with some help from my DR's to be cutting 13's on wedsday at the local test and tune. We will see.

Rust? whats that.... I live in the desert! lol. I put the air shocks on and it drives alot better with them only at 50psi. Now I have to figure out the torque steer.

Dustin check out the new Energy suspension poly bushings for the control arms. Very very nice pieces and about $30 too.

Nice score for sure. You should bring it out of the desert and across the border for a couple of car shows this year.

Car shows? funny guy... The car looks good in the pic, but its rough. Peeling paint and a fair amount of scrapes and dents. But I dont care, its a damn T2 car!

That car sounds like it would win in our class. Not really joking either.
