    How does the automatic L body shifter knob come off?

    Trying to take the shifter knob off my brother's 83 rampage. Looks to have a little hole right under the shifter knob but not sure on how to take it off. Don't want to wreck it, lol, so how does it come off?

    In my 82 Rampage you pull out the push button and there is a lock washer. Turn the washer til the groves line up and just pull the knob up.
