I have a 1999 dodge stratus with the 2.4 liter motor. Whenever I turn a corner there is a horrible scraping/grinding noise no matter what way I turn. It only does it while turning going forward, it wont do it turning in reverse. I figured it is probly a half shaft, but they both look good. The boots aren't ripped on either of them. I jacked the car up and put the transmission in nuetral and spun the wheels while turning the car and it would not make the noise. The upper ball joint on the passenger side is screwed up, could this do it? If it is an axle, how can I tell which one it is. Any help would be appreciated.
