    resize them all

ok i recently had a spun beairng in ym 89 2.5 t1 shadow. i pulled the pan and noticed it was the #4 bearing. i am taking out the crank to have it checked and turned getting new rod bearings and main bearings, and i am getting the #4 rod and cap resized.

My ? is should i go ahead and resize them all. also i am thinking baout reringing (wierd word) the #4 but i might just do them all. what would be the most cost freindlyt and reliable thing to do. Before the bearing thing 1 had 135 compression across the board and had very little blow by if any. no oil burning and engine ran great.

You could probably get away with just having the #4 rod reconditioned, but since you're going to have it all apart anyway it might be worthwhile to get them all checked. As far as reringing goes, if it was carrying 135 in all cyls, I wouldn't worry about it unless it's just something you want to do for piece of mind.

And since you are resizing anyway, put in ARP bolts.
