    1.22 Ratio Transfer Gears

Folks.. I'm still looking for 1.22 Ratio Transfer Gears.

Anyone who has a 78-81 Omni or Horizon which you think is dead beyond help, I am looking for transfer gears out of your tranny.

Must be the 1.7L engine, automatic.

These are 1.22 ratio gear set and I have a special purpose for them... if you have a blown tranmission sitting in your barn, odds are these transfer gears are still good. Or if you have an Omni as a flower pot on the back 40.. please, let me buy your gears.

    Thanks.. Patrick.

The only person that I think might know where to get some would be 22mopar.

I have a set, but you can't have them - they're going in my race car this weekend...

So, what 'special purpose' are you going to use them for?

That guy has zero posts ever.. I suppose it could be but seems unlikely. I sent him a PM, see what happens.

In the meantime.. any of you guys see an old Omni/Horizon laying in a salvage yard and you think.. oh, doesn't have a 2.2 in it, its junk.. CALL ME ! I need those gears.

Here's a whole Omni 024 1.7 Auto on eBay for $50. It's worth the price of it for the gears alone...
