    Heater Core, etc

While I have the dash out I figure this is a really good time to change the heater core and a/c evaporator on my shelby charger. Now the question is what brand? Are there any particular brands I should be buying?

-how about your local NAPA, etc brands??
-should I get a mopar one?

how about the heater fan motor, do they sell these still?

    thanks

Something I like to suggest while people are swapping their heater cores- Clean and SANITIZE the heater box while you have it apart. Some really nasty stuff will accumulate in there over 20 years. I scrubbed everything out with some dish soap and warm water, and then wiped it all out with some of those Clorox sanitizing kitchen wipes. I did the vents and all the ductwork too. It made an unbelievable difference in how the car smelled.

^^^^Awesome advice, I usually use Simple Green but anything is better than nothing. A/C is worse as all that bacteria collects in the evap case.
