    European Shadows

Came across this european e-bay site, check out the shadows for sale. I would like to get the the front side turn signals that are not yellow, they may fit our shadows. Notice the front air dam on a couple of them, and the funky tail lights. Not sure about those, but would definitely look different.

    Re: European Shadows

i've owned a shadow couple of years ago...had to part it out.
not sure on the turn signals you mean, over here they are all yellow/amber...everything will fit the US models, but the wiring for the taillights needs to be modified, as our turnsignals have to be amber and need to flash seperatly...not with the brake bulbs together (they stay ON or OFF all the time)

i have a set of euro shadow taillights, but one has a broken reflector, so more or less useless

that was my shadow (painted the grill black - thought it would look mean )

Cool. I was talking about the blinkers on the side, just in front of the front wheels. Here, they are orange. On the ones posted on that ebay page, they looked white or gray, not yellow/orange. Do you know about those?

    they came orange in stock.
maybe somebody replaced them with aftermarket ones! I think golf mk II could fit in there, but i'm note sure.

    Re: European Shadows

Do they not use the Dodge name in ol' Deutschland?

The front fascia, bodywork, interior, everything on their Chrysler ES looks the same as my own Dodge Shadow ES, the only difference I see is the tail lights. Interesting that it's a law to have amber turn signals. Good idea though, I've always wondered why half the cars in the US have red turn signals, and half have amber. They look OK, but not as "smooth" as the 2 or 3 horizontal bar all-red tail-lights over here.

Anyone notice what is different between those front seats and the ones you find in US spec Shadows with that design in the material???

I wouldn't mind a set of those taillights/license plate parts.
