    When did Omni go to SMEC?

    Was 88 an SMEC car?
    My buddy hit the yards this morning and found an 88 and 89 but that's the only info I got from him since he still thinks "building an Omni is a waste"....

    89 is for sure. I'm not sure about 88 though.

    '88 is the first year for SMEC for all body styles, including the L-body.

    Nope 88 is TBI, 87 was the last year carbs were on l-bodies.

    Only the Hardcore go out in this weather!
