I am planning to run a daytona rad in my charger, this means there is no nipple on the rad for the heater hose, can I just run a g-body water pump on my charger? I just want to make sure I won't have any clearance issues.

just build yourself a Tee [1 1/2--5/8---1 1/2] in the lower radiator hose--works beautiful-been using one for years--bob
What block are you running? The water pumps are different between non common blocks (88 & earlier) and common blocks (89 and later).

You should probably be ok. If you're doing it just get a new pump, they're cheap. The 88 and earlier pumps spin one direction, the 89 and later pumps spin the other direction. You just want to be sure to use the right pump with the right block.

Yeah I'll be getting a new pump for sure,
thanks guys
yeah but then you just switch the belt routing depending on which pump you are using
True, but if he is swapping out the housings too like he is, then there could be interference with the oil pan IIRC. I know I went with the latter style pump and housing on my non-common block, so it must be the NCB pump housing that hits on the CBs. He is in no danger of this since he is taking a tona' pump/housing and using it on his omni though.
It didn't hit on my 16v motor, I ran an early water pump on a common block . That is also because I don't like the water pump running off the back of a belt

I wasn't sure if I was clear here, I have an 86 daytona water pump, which I want to put on my 86 shelby charger (which has an 86 block as well), it should bolt on the block for sure (of course) but I was worried about fitment in the engine bay.
Something I was thinking about, why did they run the nipple on the rad anyway on l-bodies, as opposed to running off of the water pump?
Because of the L-body rad and how it's a double pass style rad
