Any diesel store will have 4" parts. 3" is usually the smallest they carry, all the way up to 6" and sometimes larger!
Just search for a diesel semi supply store and they will have everything needed to make an exhaust. You wouldn't have a doughnut though, you would use like a 4" Vband connector and then some flex piping.

Iam only trying to see what all is out there before I make a choice which way I go. I already have 4" exhaust on my GLHS hooked to a 3" TU swingvalve. But I got my SC61 turbo today and I would have to do some modding.Originally Posted by 8valves
Noice! That will be fun for sure. I'm big on the bigger than 3" can help. There was an article a whle back on how Ryan Woon's Supra (single digit 6 spd car) gained over 50whp at one point when going from a 3" to a 5" downpipe. Obviously that car hasa bit more airflow requirements than us, but it goes to show that the automotive world isn't limited to 3" tubing.

Yeah go to your local Mack or Freightliner dealership they will hook you up, MMMM Mandrel 3inch bends and 4inch bends for 13 dollars and 17 dollars respectivly
I was already running a TU 3" swingvalve with a short 3" to 4" transition, followed by a side exit 4" exhaust with a DynoMax Ultraflo muffler. I like the way it sounds. It's a completly different sound than a 3". What Iam doing now is building a 4" swingvalve-downpipe for the SC6152 turbo I will be using. So the whole exhaust will be 4". It may be overkill, but Iam doing it anyway. The 3" exhaust on my Daytona was starting to get that restrictive swooshing sound @ 26psi, and that's why Iam going to 4".Originally Posted by 8valves
Let us know how that works out for you. It might be interesting to see what gains could be made from 4". As previously stated, it is overkill for most folks though I am sure.Originally Posted by glhs875

4" 7000 or 9000 series might work for you.......I will be using one

well I'll be jigged I didn't know they made 4inch cats
hmmm my tona makes that swoosh noise at 20psi. Maybe 4" is in my future
