    Welded A413 Diff?

I want my minivan to 60' as good as possible, so I'm thinking about getting my diff welded up. I know I won't be able to turn as sharp and my tires will wear out faster, but this is not my DD. I will be on slicks most of the time. Has anyone else had their diff welded up in an A413?

I have stick welded one before. Hated it. Didn't even like it in the pits. Absolutely not for street use.

Try it if you have a spare diff. IMO it isn't a viable solution.

I've decided to weld it up. I have powersteering and this isn't my daily driver.

A welded diff works excellent, just cant turn very well. Since its not a DD and a track car, welding is a cheap solution, just dont let tech know you did it.

Race only, sounds good. Just becareful if an axle breaks, I've heard it will pull violently to the good side.
