If I were going to replace the wiring harness in my 87 GLHS, could I get the harness out of a 87 T2 car, like a daytona or csx, or are they different?
I'm already converted to 87 T2 status, so that part would be done.

L-bodies are different from G and P bodies. I believe a P body (Shadow, CSX) would be your closest match, but will still need modification.
Do you know what makes the P and G bodies different? Why would they not be the same? Also, do you happen to know what would need to be modified to make due in an L-body?
Anyone done this before?
Why not get another turbo L-body harness and just add in the extra 4 wires in a neat way?
If that is easier, then that is what I'll do. I've never messed with any cars besides GLHSs, so I don't know what the changes are from TI to TII, and year to year. I figured the 87 TII wiring harness would be much more similar to a GLHS wiring than the TI L-body harness would be.
What are the 4 extra wires that need to be added?
You just need to add two wires for the AIS, on the harness, and you will have to switch around the other wires like you did to do the conversion in the first place.
If you can find a good condition L-body harness that will be much easier than converting a different harness into the car IMO.
Well thats not too bad. What about the charge air temp sensor? Does the TI harness have that built into it?
