will a 20g size turbo fit on a 86 shelby charger?

I think you will be faced with the same issues that people going with a hybrid faced with. In all honest, you would probably be better off with a T3 Super60.

the S60 is smaller than a 20G. lots of Avenger/Eclipse with the 2.0L 420A motors (basically the neon 2.0L motor with a slightly different cyl head) are getting 400whp with the 20G that Hahn Racecraft sells at 23-27psi.
You are better off with a hybrid from TU cause the Mitsu 20G doesnt have the same exhaust flange as the turbos that are a bolt on affair for our cars unless you make a custom log manifold or modify the stock manifold. ie not worth it.

t04e super 50 is a good alternative. and you can use a t3 hybrid. or you could whack it on your stock manifold with maybe a small spacer/adapter plate.

ya where the exhaust houseing is .48 on the big turbo i just swaped my t1 turbo exhaust housing on to the new turbo it bolts right up
you can change the A/R by porting the inside of the turbine housing. it's Area/Radius. more area = larger A/R #s. i say this cause with the 20g side huffing into there, you're outta exhaust flow in the housing. though if you have a very large external wastegate, you're good to go with a sweet combination for quick spoolup and high end flow. good luck!
