    break in on dyno

    does anyone use motoman's dyno method to break in a new motor and if they do are there any suggestions to anything about it

    or should i just go and beat the crap out of it?

    Are you talking about Motune's method? if so, yep, go beat on it. I prefer to use the 2nd or 3rd gear method, cruise along at say 30 mph and WOT it until near redline then chop the gas, repeat 20 times. Go back, change oil and filter and now beat on it like you stole it.

    ok cool guys thanks i am about to go break it in it is 1:05 here so there shouldnt be any traffic.
    i will do the check for leaks thing and warm it up right while adding the rest of the water and set the mbc at the lowest(around 6 with the crap intercooler pipg but maybe around 10 with this good int piping.
    drive around 25 miles of 2000 to 5000 rpm accel and engine breaking.
    come back here and change the oil then put about 500 or 600 miles on it tommorow and friday then go to the track on friday night
    previos best at 10 psi with crappy running car was a 13.9
    added some stuff and fixed some stuff so ill see what happends
