Why not use the stock harness? Well, because I don't want to. I don't have one. The shell I got didn't come with one. So why buy a turbo harness with all kinds of excess wiring I don't need when I can get a carbed harness, that has none of it, AND a external VR that I DO need? It will make the engine bay MUCH cleaner than having to take out all the old injector harness, and map wires, and everything else.
OK makes perfect sense now, didnt realize you didnt have the stock harness
