    Hard Rubber Parts Fix

If anyone is interested in saving old rubber parts (not weather stripping, but small items fittings, gromets..etc...) Get a container(preferably glass or steel)
Fill the container with lacquer thinner, submerge your part in the thinner for about 24hrs ( careful choose a container 4 times the size of your part as IT WILL EXPAND) after you soak your peice or peices remove the parts from the thinner and wrap the part into a rag and let sit for another 24hrs wrapped up in the rag. the rag will draw out the thinner and will return your part to it's original shape and will be supple as if it was new again, this will work for items without cracks.

So it will take parts that are uncracked, but age-hardened, and make them squishy again? Pics?
