Is A555 casing better than A520? Thedodgegarage says the A555 case is heat treated case, how much better is that?

heat treated = stronger and probably means less case flex
I hope I don't jinx it, but there is a certain 10-second Omni that has been running a 520 case behind a 400+ whp 2.5 for over 3 years without any problems.

We've never noticed any difference in strength between the 520 and the 555 cases. I'd say that the week point usually isn't the case, it's the diff or the case bearing, when those break then they take out the case. But the case breaking on it's own? I suppose it's possible, but it'd be the last worry in my mind.
Cool.
TurboGLH, must I replace the bolts for the differential or is it ok to reuse the old ones with threadlock?
Thanks for the insight and clarification Chris.
