Hello all, can someone tell me where I can find a listing of logic module part numbers and cars they match up with. I am researching part number 5227369. I would never-the-less like to be able to access these numbers for JY searches. jeff1234

slasky, Thanks much for your help. I bought the computer from jaysshelby some time ago in order to have a spare for my 85 charger, and it looks like I might be able to use it for a turbo II set-up if I cant find a 87 L/M turbo II.

I am not sure if it will have the driver to run the 4 wire AIS motor for a turbo 2. If it was from a glh-s it would as well as most 87 logic modules.
SDAC member "It's not the ride, it's the rider."
It will not drive the 4 wire AIS, nor will it have the correct fuel tables for T2 use. Another thing to consider is the air charge temp sensor.
Why not convert the spare to T2/GLHS? It's simple, two chips to socket and burn. Even if you can't do it yourself there are plenty of members who can and would be willing to help you out. And once it's socketed you'll be able to put the stock chips back in so you can run it as a T1.
I guess thats was the direction I was heading. I have a member available who says he can socket and burn my chips. I just didn't know if this "86" L/M could be converted to what I needed. When I checked the pin outs for the 86 L/M it didn't make sense like it did with the 87 pin outs. I may just be cornfused.LOL
Question, what would be the purpose of putting my stock chips back in after it was socketed? I do have an intercooler and I am changing the intake over to a blow through. I have a T1 Garrett but it should operate OK on the T-2 program because I also have the 33 pound injectors. Does this sound right to you, or am I misguiding myself?
thanks, jeff1234
33 lb injectors are perfect. You can find more info on T1/T2 conversionson Gary Donovan's Dodge Garage. In the left hand bar click on 'Turbo Database' then scroll down and read #'s 24 & 25.
And as far as putting the stock chips back in....I was just saying once it's socketed it's easy to switch back and forth, it's versatile. Who know's... maybe you'll need it for a T1 car down the road in a pinch.

Thanks to both of you guys for help on this. I think its totally awesome that I can be here in the midwest and get engineering assistance from literally both ends of the country. This community of MOPAR enthusiasts held together by a passion for 25 year old, four cylinder, turbo'ed hot rods is indeed amazing.

Josh, I need a clarification of your post from 01/04/2007.
It appears to me that you are saying that by converting my 1986 TI L/M to the glhs TII chips and program I would be;
1.) solving the four wire ais problem.
2.) getting the TII fuel/air calibrations.
3.) solving the charge air sensor problem.
Is this an correct assumption?
If it is, would you be able to recommend a member who can do this? I would want to find someone who has done many of these socketing conversions because they would have the experience to do top quality work, that is to say properly desoldering/soldering the zif's to the board, have clean proven programs to download into my L/M.
Thanks, jeff1234
