Will this project be done for SDAC-17 ?
Changin plug#3 looks like fun!
I'm doin the rear disc swap on my 86 C/S. Any headaches?
i don't think it will be done in time for sdac-17. maybe next year. it needs things such as new paint still.
as for the disc swap... actually it was easy if you discount the fact i mistakingly used the drum hubs first, which stick out ever-so-slightly more than the disc hubs. This would not allow clearance for the calipers to mount up correctly. long story shot: pay attention!

that motor rocks.
deuce
Bringing this back from the dead. Going to make a real attempt at bringing this car back to life this year, since the Talon is done. Finally. I can't believe it's been this long....
Oh, and it's not longer a 3.0L project.. I've since got a PTGT 2.4L engine for it along with an A555 trans. I guess the first step is to fit the engine, then find someone to paint it.
"I'll give you anything you'll ever need and I'll find a way to turn you into a monster."
any particular reason you decided to go 2.4 vs 3.0?
Laziness for the most part. There's more available for the 2.4L than the 3.0L.
"I'll give you anything you'll ever need and I'll find a way to turn you into a monster."
nothing wrong with being lazy, and the aftermarket does indeed suck for the 3.0 compared to the 2.4...
As long as it stays slow its cool
Some people gotta do things SBC style.
