Rebuilt '88 2.2 T1

Just curious. This drive might be feasible for me and getting a newer engine. The cost for just this engine is about $200 more than "just the parts" for my rebuild.

Any comments?

remember that motor has the crap LW rods from the factory. Rod knocks are common.

Yea, just checking ALL my options on this problem. I'm writing everything down then the wife and I are going to hash things out as to what is best to do in this situation I have.

For what Paul's goals are-stock, this is a good deal. If can get it for $1000 or less, your laughing,

No valve cover, no intake/tb, no exhaust manny/turbo, no mention of wiring or computer. This one would require another good sum to get it in working order.

Why would you need wiring? he justs swaps over his crap and he's done.
